Koffi FIATY has a PhD from the Claude Bernard University of Lyon-1 in the field of Chemical engineering after his chemical engineering graduate from the Industrial High School of Chemistry in Lyon. He is now Associate Professor at University Lyon-1 and CPE Lyon. His research field concerns transport phenomena coupled or not with chemical reaction. His is also involved in process modelling and simulation, unit operation and chemical reactor design.
Hélène Provendier is a graduate of the Engineer High School in Chemistry of Strasbourg (EHICS) and obtained a PhD degree from the University of Strasbourg for research in the field of catalysis. She is now a searcher in catalysis at the IRCELYON (Institute for Research in Catalysis and Environment of Lyon) and chemistry teacher at the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1. She has taught at CPE Lyon since 2000 in the area of process engineering.
Laurent Vanoye obtained a PhD in Catalysis in 2006 from the University of Montpellier. After a couple of year in Belfast’s Queen’s University Ionic Liquid Laboratory, he is currently working as a CNRS engineer in the Catalytic Process Engineering Laboratory (LGPC) since 2009. His fields of interest are heterogeneous catalysis, kinetics and trace analysis. He is also part-time CPE teacher in kinetics and organic chemistry since 2011.
Claire Mantel obtained a PhD in 2004 at Grenoble-Alpes University in the field of paramagnetic electronic resonance. After two post doctorates respectively at the University of Geneva and at the CEA Grenoble, she is now a CPE Lyon teacher in analytical chemistry. She is also involved in the organization of practical courses in analytical chemistry for first and second year students.
Claire Marchal obtained a PhD in 2008 at Grenoble-Alpes University in the field of organic and organometallic chemistry (synthesis of supramolecular lanthanides (III) complexes). She is now a CPE Lyon teacher in organic and organometallic chemistry. She is also involved in the organization of practical courses for the Summer Schools taking place at CPE Lyon.
Mairi BEATON has been an English teacher at CPE Lyon since 1993 and has a special interest in cultural differences. She has worked in international teams in the Netherlands, the US and the UK as well as in France, so has personal experience of the impact of cultural differences In the workplace. Pierre MONKAM has a Master degree in Materials from the Lyon Textile and Chemical Institute, and a PhD in process and environmental engineering from the University of Lyon 1. Sandrine GARAUDEE is a graduate of CPE Lyon and obtained a PhD degree from the University of Strasbourg for research in the field of spectrophotometry of natural substances. She is now a teacher at CPE Lyon in analytical chemistry. She is especially involved in the analytical chemistry practical classes and is also in charge of the 3rd year chemistry students. Maria-Angélina BEAUCOURT has worked at CPE Lyon since January 2007. She was first hired as the Assistant of the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Scientific Director of CPE Lyon.
